Kendama teaches patience! How else could we play for hours under the scorching sun with overheating cameras? By playing kendama, we not only learn patience by taking time to recover between tricks and evaluate our previous attempts, but we also learn to have patience with ourselves. What always brings you back to center is the reminder that one trick can't break you. If you're struggling for three hours to pull off a really great trick, you're showing patience with yourself and believing that you will succeed.<\/span><\/p>

Landing a trick that wasn't \"clean\" won't bring us that sense of satisfaction that landing it honestly would, so of course we should strive to do better!
